This family-owned oasis is a picturesque destination located in the woods of West Michigan and consists of 3 separate properties nestled along Pigeon River — The Retreat House, The Loft, and The Tin Roof.
The Retreat House
The Retreat House is the perfect place for families, friends, or retreat groups looking for spacious accommodations in the beautiful riverfront landscape of Western Michigan. Nestled on a wooded dune overlooking Pigeon River, it’s a picturesque nature getaway with activities like hiking, biking, exploring the woods, or kayaking the river, all right in your backyard. Or for folks who prefer a mix of nature and city life, The Retreat House is a quick 10 minute drive from Grand Haven and Holland, MI.
The Retreat House is fully-furnished and can accommodate up to 24 overnight guests — with 4 bedrooms and bathrooms on the main floor, additional rooms and bathrooms on the lower level, a large open kitchen/dining area which seats 25, a large and comfortable living room, and an expansive deck overlooking the river. The lower level also features a snack area, and a large living room which can be used as a crafting area, workspace, or group activity area. And the outdoor space comes furnished with a fire pit, deck seating, outdoor games, and a covered lounge space. So regardless of the season, weather, or type of gathering, you’ll be able to enjoy everything the indoors and outdoors has to offer!

Rooms
Room 1
Accommodates up to 2 guests, featuring a King Bed. Large slider overlooks Pigeon River and gives easy access to the large deck. What a relaxing way to wake up! Enjoy the great view.
Room 2
Accommodates 6 guests and is fondly referred to as the "slumber party room". Features an extra sink and has an access door to Spring Room's bathroom.
Room 3
Secluded in the back corner of the retreat, accommodates 4 guests with a private bath. The third bed is hidden away in a semi-private nook. A favorite for those who love to snooze late.
Room 4
Nestled in the pines, accommodates 4 guests with a private bathroom right outside the door. The third bed is hidden away in a semi-private nook. Enjoy twinkling lights and a charming Norman Rockwell feel.
Room 5
Located on the lower level, this rustic haven features barn wood and a relaxed setting with six twin beds. Just a few steps away from the large crafting area. There is a comfortable private bathroom just down a private hallway.
Room 6
Crafting Area / Conference Room
This large and spacious multi-purpose room is 1200 square feet and can accommodate many events! Most popular events include crafting groups, yoga sessions and business meetings. 20 tables (6 foot) and executive chairs are provided and can be reorganized for various venues. White board located on main wall. Snack area located right through the doorway. Adjacent to the crafting area is "The Hollow"; you will find 2 extra beds for anyone wanting privacy and a dart board for some healthy competition.

Overnight Stay:
Main Floor Weekday (Sun-Thurs): $450 + $200 per additional night
Entire House Weekday (Sun-Thurs): $600 + $300 per additional night
Main Floor Weekend (Fri-Sun): $1500*
Entire House Weekend (Sun-Thurs): $1750*
*Two night minimum stay required
*Day event rates are available upon request.
Rental Details
All bookings require 1/2 of the total balance down for non-refundable deposit.
Reservations will not be held without a deposit.
Balance due 30 days prior to event
General check-in time is 4pm and check-out time 11am unless other arrangements have been made.
6% use tax will be added to reservation at time of purchase
Payment completion gives ITWR the right to charge a fee if items are damaged or non-rented rooms of the retreat are used

The Loft
The Loft is the finished upper level of our pole barn and is a surprising oasis nestled amongst the trees. With 2 rooms, a small kitchen, and a fireplace, this is the perfect spot to spend the day working, creating, reflecting, or seeing clients. Big enough for a small group to gather, cozy enough to feel perfect for a solo day. Also perfect for practitioners to host small groups and their clients.

Coming Soon:
The Tin Roof will be expanding to a 4 bedroom home, with the lower level having the ability to convert into a private suite. The deck and patio out back are surrounded by trees completely private. The Tin Roof has its very own sled hill and is the perfect winter retreat. The living room has a gas fireplace, the lower level has a 2 sided fireplace. This multi-level home is perfect for families, groups, or even renting in combo with The Retreat House, which is just up the driveway.

The Tin Roof Suite
The Tin Roof Suite is a spacious multipurpose suite and is perfect for a day or a few days away. Cozy and quaint, this space has a 2-sided fireplace, areas to sit and talk, a movie room and a game room. This lower level is our newest space — a home surrounded by woods, atop a beautiful ridge
